The Zen Garden posed a tricky challenge in transforming a sloping, cramped, concreted space into a usable haven that meanders toward an end destination - a therapy studio. To achieve the tranquility requested by our client, we created a bespoke installation that captures the sense of peace and flow - a perfect precursor for a therapeutic session.

 

The paved and stepped sandstone walkway hugs a yin-yang style raised island, as you travel through to the studio. Your eye is drawn through the rusty red tones of the Japanese Maples to holistic features inspired by the client's love of spiritual symbolism.

 

The space incorporates many bespoke bamboo items - produced in-house - from corner planters filled with seasonal foliage to a central babbling water feature nestled amid pearl-white pebbles, on a raised brickwork island.
